NH Investment & Securities Launches KRW 5 Billion WTI-Linked Derivative Bond Issue
NH Investment & Securities Co. Ltd., a South Korean securities firm, has filed an additional shelf registration document for its 1,759th issue of Other Derivative-Linked Bonds.
The bonds are tied to the settlement price of near-month West Texas Intermediate crude oil futures and will have a face value of KRW 5 billion. They will be offered to investors between October 6 and October 15, 2026, with a minimum subscription of KRW 1 million and maturity on October 15, 2027.
The filing notes that principal repayment depends on the issuer's solvency rather than the stability of the underlying WTI futures. It also clarifies that the product is not covered by depositor protection and may incur losses under certain conditions.
NH Investment & Securities emphasizes extensive risk disclosures, investor suitability checks, and access to offering documents via regulatory and company channels, reinforcing regulatory compliance and investor protection practices around its expanding structured product issuance.
