Accord Party presidential candidate Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim has announced plans to sell Nigerian crude oil to local refineries at a strategic domestic price, giving them a cost advantage in sub-regional markets.

Olawepo-Hashim believes that Nigeria's greatest economic mistake has been treating its crude oil primarily as an export commodity instead of using it as the foundation of national industrial power.

He aims to reverse this equation with his 'Energy First' policy, which includes selling Nigerian crude to local refineries at a domestic price to support their growth and competitiveness in international markets.
