Nigeria's Crude Oil Output Rises 0.4% in August, OPEC Quota Maintained
Nigeria's crude oil production rose by 0.4% in August to 1.68 million barrels per day (bpd), according to the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
The increase came as the country maintained its Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) quota for the fourth consecutive month.
The NUPRC attributed the modest improvement to the resolution of operational challenges at the Erha field, which had affected production in the preceding month.
