Nigeria's NIPCO Group Eyes $3bn FLNG Project

NIPCO Group has announced plans to develop a $3 billion Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) project, aiming to boost gas monetization and supply in Nigeria.

The project's managing director, Mr Nagendra Verma, said the initiative would mark NIPCO Group's entry into the LNG sector and reinforce its long-term commitment to gas development.

NIPCO Gas Ltd will be responsible for the project, which is expected to have an LNG production capacity of about three million tonnes annually.
