Nigeria's Oil Production Surges Under Tinubu Administration
Nigeria's oil production has seen significant growth under President Bola Tinubu's administration. According to Heineken Lokpobiri, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), the number of active oil rigs in Nigeria has risen from about 14 to more than 60.
This surge in drilling activity has led to an increase in crude oil production, with output reaching over 1.7 million barrels per day.
Lokobiri attributed the growth to ongoing reforms in the petroleum industry, which have restored investor confidence and improved regulatory certainty.
