Nigeria's Refining Hub Dreams Hinge on Reliable Crude Supplies
Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, needs about 2.1 million barrels of crude oil per day to supply his expanding refining operations.
The disclosure came as the Crude Oil Refinery-Owners Association of Nigeria, CORAN, and the Independent Petroleum Producers Group, IPPG, demanded measures to guarantee reliable and commercially viable crude supplies to domestic refineries.
CORAN presented a 10-point agenda to address refiners' difficulties in accessing crude on commercially viable terms.
