NIPCO Unveils $3bn Plan to Develop Nigeria's First Floating LNG Project

NIPCO Group has announced plans to develop a Floating Liquefied Natural Gas project in Nigeria, which is estimated to require more than $3bn in investment.

The proposed development would have an LNG production capacity of approximately three million tonnes per annum and mark NIPCO's entry into the Liquefied Natural Gas sector.

Nagendra Verma, Managing Director of NIPCO Group, said the project is being considered for locations in the Escravos area of Delta State and the Akwa Ibom region.
