NNPC Profit Jumps 15.8% to N535 Billion in June

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reported a significant increase in its profit after tax for June, reaching N535 billion. This represents a 15.8% rise from the N462 billion recorded in May.

This is the highest monthly profit achieved by NNPC since August 2025, when it reached N539 billion. The company's revenue for June stood at N4.39 trillion, while its cumulative statutory payments to the Federation for the first six months of 2026 totalled N6.29 trillion.

Despite a slight decline in crude oil and condensate production, averaging 1.72 million barrels per day in June, natural gas production rose by 0.86% to 7.841 million standard cubic feet per day.
