NNPCL Profit Jumps 33% to N7.2 Trillion Amid Lower Oil Prices
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) reported a significant surge in profit after tax, reaching N7.2 trillion in 2025, up from N5.4 trillion in 2024.
This increase of 33% comes despite lower crude oil prices and reduced white-product volumes following the removal of petrol subsidy.
According to Bayo Ojulari, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of NNPC Ltd, the improved profitability reflects operational discipline and efficiency across its businesses.
