Nord Gas Solutions Wins Contract to Supply Regasification Module
Nord Gas Solutions has won a contract to provide the regasification system module for Excelerate Energy's first floating storage and regasification unit conversion project. The module will be installed on the Methane Patricia Camila, a liquefied natural gas carrier with a capacity of 170,000 cubic meters that is being converted into a floating storage and regasification unit.
The contract was awarded in July 2026, and delivery of the regasification module is scheduled for the first half of 2028. Once in service, the converted unit is expected to help broaden access to natural gas in the markets it serves.
David Liner, Chief Operating Officer of Excelerate Energy, indicated that Nord Gas Solutions has substantial experience in designing and delivering regasification systems for the global LNG industry and that this background, together with a long-standing relationship between the two companies, made the firm a natural partner for the conversion project.
