A new case study by Stormlands Mining has found that the Northumberland gold project in Nevada could be worth US$2.84 billion, a significant increase from the initial estimated value of US$1.87 billion.

The study used an updated commodity-price scenario and took into account various factors such as gold-price leverage, sulphide processing exposure, and key project-development uncertainties.

According to the report, the Northumberland gold project has a 67 million tonne indicated resource with grades of 1.26 g/t gold and 5.38 g/t silver. When modelled at US$3,500/oz. gold and US$55/oz. silver prices, the post-tax net present value (NPV) was estimated to be US$1.87 billion.

However, when the same physical project scenario was re-modelled using Stormlands' average August 2026 commodity prices of US$4,398.80/oz. gold and US$65.40/oz silver, NPV increased by approximately 51.9% to US$2.84 billion.
