Norway's Equinor and Uniper have signed a 15-year gas sales agreement for supplies to Germany. Under this deal, more than 30 TWh (2.8 billion cubic meters) of natural gas will be delivered per year by Equinor to Uniper from January 2027 to December 2041.

The gas will be supplied at the Trading Hub Europe, which is the German gas market area. Pricing for this agreement will reflect market terms, while other commercial details remain confidential between the parties.

This long-term partnership underscores the strong demand for reliable gas supplies from the Norwegian continental shelf. Equinor's CEO Anders Opedal noted that their gas production has a lower carbon footprint than alternative supply options, making it an attractive choice for European markets.
