NYMEX Metals Prices Show Slight to Significant Shifts

The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) has reported changes in precious metals prices as of August 25. The price of gold futures is down by 0.06% to $4638.10, while platinum futures is up by 0.63% to $1876.10.

Silver futures showed a significant increase with a rise of 1.75% to $69.31. It's worth noting that the measurement unit used is 1 troy ounce, which is equivalent to 31.1 grams.

The NYMEX Division has two main areas of focus: the NYMEX Division itself and the COMEX Division. The former deals with oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, while the latter handles gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
