NYMEX Posts Precious Metals Prices Amid Market Shifts
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX), founded in 1882, has released its precious metals prices for October 1. The NYMEХ is a US futures market that operates two divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division.
The NYMEX Division handles trades of oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, while the COMEX Division is responsible for gold, silver, copper, and aluminum trade.
In terms of precious metals prices, gold futures are down 0.06% to $4146.30 per troy ounce (31.1 grams), while silver futures have increased by 1.05% to $60.73. Platinum futures, meanwhile, have risen by 0.78% to $1746.30.
