NYMEX Precious Metals Prices Plummet on August 13
New York's NYMEX futures market saw declines in precious metals prices on August 13. According to the latest data, gold futures dropped by 2.17% to $4315.00 per troy ounce, while silver futures decreased by 1.05% to $64.87. Platinum futures also declined by 2.14% to $1716.10.
The NYMEX is a US futures market founded in 1882 and operates through two divisions: the NYMEX Division for oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions; and the COMEX Division for gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
