NYMEX Precious Metals Prices See Mixed Results on August 27

The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) has released its precious metals prices for August 27. Gold futures have experienced a slight decrease, down by 0.02% to $4597.50 per troy ounce. In contrast, silver futures have seen an increase of 1.13% to $68.76. Meanwhile, platinum futures have dropped by 0.46% to $1850.70.

The NYMEX is a US futures market founded in 1882, with two main divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division. The former handles trades of oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, while the latter deals with gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
