NYMEX Precious Metals Prices See Moderate Movements
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) has reported price movements for precious metals on September 16. Gold futures saw a significant increase, rising by 1.55% to $4346.30 per troy ounce (31.1 grams).
Silver futures also showed a substantial gain, increasing by 1.66% to $64.29. In contrast, platinum futures decreased by 0.58% to $1788.00.
The NYMEX is a US futures market founded in 1882 and operates through two divisions: the NYMEX Division, which handles trades for oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions; and the COMEX Division, responsible for gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
