NYMEX Reports Declines in Precious Metals Prices on October 2
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) has reported a decline in precious metals prices on October 2. According to NYMEX, the price of gold futures dropped by 0.30% to $4133.70 per troy ounce.
Silver futures also saw a decrease, falling by 1.23% to $59.98 per troy ounce. Platinum futures experienced the largest decline, dropping by 2.65% to $1700.00 per troy ounce.
NYMEX is a US futures market founded in 1882 and currently operates through two divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division.
