NYMEX Sees Decline in Precious Metals Prices
The New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) has reported a decline in precious metals prices for September 21. The price of gold futures fell by 0.40% to $4350.50, while silver futures decreased by 1.66% to $65.83. Platinum futures also saw a drop, down by 0.81% to $1791.30.
The NYMEX is a US futures market that was founded in 1882 and has two divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division. The first division deals with trades of oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, while the second one handles gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
