NYMEX Sees Uptick in Gold Futures, Declines in Silver and Platinum
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) released precious metals prices for August 11. The price of gold futures rose by 1.02% to $4406.50, while silver futures dropped by 0.52% to $64.77.
Platinum futures also experienced a decline, decreasing by 0.30% to $1765.00 per troy ounce (31.1 grams).
The NYMEX is a US futures market founded in 1882 and operates two divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division.
