NYMEX Updates Precious Metals Prices with Slipping Gold and Rising Silver
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) has released its latest precious metals prices for September 22. According to NYMEX, gold futures are down by 0.27% to $4338.90 per troy ounce. In contrast, silver futures have risen by 0.15% to $65.93 per troy ounce. Platinum futures have also seen an increase of 1.50% to $1818.10 per troy ounce.
The NYMEX has two divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division. The first division handles trades for oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions. The second division focuses on gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
New York's NYMEХ was founded in 1882 and is a US futures market. It provides a platform for traders to buy and sell various commodities.
