OGRA Slashes LNG Prices by Up to 27.71 Percent for Pakistan Consumers

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a significant reduction in liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices, effective immediately. The price cut ranges from 19.03 to 27.71 percent, with Sui Northern consumers seeing the largest decrease of $6.81 per MMBTU.

The new LNG price for Sui Northern has been fixed at $19.03 per MMBTU, down from a previous high of $25.84 per MMBTU. In contrast, Sui Southern customers will see their prices drop by $6.95 per MMBTU, with the new rate set at $18.13 per MMBTU.

This reduction is expected to provide substantial financial relief to consumers using both major gas distribution systems in the country.
