Oil Prices Continue Downward Trend on Thursday
Oil prices continued to decline on Thursday morning, extending losses from the previous session. As of 00:49 GMT, Brent crude futures had fallen by $1.24 (1.2%) to $104.59 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures declined $1.14 (1.1%) to $101.29 per barrel.
Both benchmarks had dropped around $3 per barrel at the close of trading on Wednesday. The price fluctuations have been a concern for investors in the oil market, and it remains to be seen whether this trend will continue.
