Oil Prices Decline as US-Iran Conflict Enters Seventh Month
Oil prices declined on Thursday as investors weighed the uncertainty of renewed military strikes between the US and Iran, which could disrupt supplies from the Middle East.
Brent crude futures fell by 56 cents, or 0.6%, to $95.07 a barrel in early trading, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures dropped by 50 cents, or 0.6%, to $90.51.
The latest attacks marked the most significant exchange of fire between the two countries since July, with the conflict now in its seventh month.
