Oil Prices Decline Over 2% Amid Renewed U.S.-Iran Talks and Saudi Export Recovery
Oil prices declined by more than 2% on Monday as hopes for renewed talks between the U.S. and Iran, along with a recovery in Saudi crude exports, eased supply concerns.
Brent crude fell 2.12% to $101.68 per barrel, while U.S. WTI dropped 2.32% to $93.85.
The mediation efforts between Washington and Tehran are being led by Qatar, in collaboration with Pakistan, which aims to resume talks.
