Oil Prices Dip Amid Mixed Signals and Geopolitical Risks
Brent crude oil prices dropped by 0.7% on Friday to $101.61 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate fell 0.9% to $92.02.
The decline came after both benchmarks surged sharply on Thursday, with Brent reaching $102.31 and WTI closing at $92.87.
KCM Trade Chief Analyst Tim Waterer attributed the mixed signals this week to improving Middle Eastern supply conditions, alongside geopolitical risks such as renewed U.S.-Iran tensions and China's suspension of refined-product exports for October.
