Oil Prices Hold Steady Amid US-Iran Talks
Oil prices remained stable during early trading in Asia on Thursday as market participants weighed developments in US-Iran peace talks and regional crude export trends.
The Brent crude futures price climbed by 12 cents, or 0.1 percent, to $98.15 per barrel at 00:45 GMT, while the US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) settled at $90.35 a barrel, slipping 7 cents, or 0.1 percent.
Both major benchmarks had advanced by roughly $1 a barrel in the previous session.
The Brent price has seen significant gains in September, advancing approximately 14 percent for its strongest monthly performance since July, according to Reuters. In contrast, WTI finished the month up about 5 percent.
