Oil Prices Inch Up Amid Mixed Market Signals

The daily oil price update for August 19, 2026, shows a slight increase in crude oil prices. According to the Odessa American, the current price of crude oil is $85.83 per barrel, up by $0.89 from the previous day. The Nymex MTD average also rose to $81.3063.

Natural gas prices followed suit, increasing by $0.038 to reach $2.814. In contrast, gasoline prices declined by $0.0782 to $3.2235 per gallon.

The spreads for September/October and October/November also saw an increase of +1.44 and +1.58 respectively. The Plains WTI posting price rose by $0.89 to $82.31.
