Oil Prices Plummet on September 25th
Oil prices took a downturn on September 25th as market forces weighed in. The WTI Crude Oil (Light Sweet) price at the NYMEX Stock Exchange plummeted by 0.70% to $92.44 per barrel, while Brent Crude Oil at London's ICE Stock Exchange dropped by 1.19% to $104.38 per barrel.
The NYMEX is a US futures market founded in 1882 and ranks first in oil futures trade, with its two divisions handling various commodities including oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions.
