Oil Prices Plummet to July 20 Levels

Oil prices continued their decline on Tuesday, falling to their lowest levels since July 20. Brent crude futures dropped by $1.47, or 1.66%, to reach $86.89 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell by $1.45, or 1.76%, to $81.16 per barrel.

This marks the second consecutive day of decline for both contracts, with a combined drop of around 8% in the previous session.
