Oil Prices Plummet to Lowest Level Since July 20
Oil prices continued their downward trend on Tuesday, falling by over $1 per barrel to their lowest level since July 20. According to data from Brent crude futures were down $1.47, or 1.66%, at $86.89.
The US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was at $81.16 a barrel, down $1.45, or 1.76%. Both contracts slid around 8% in the prior session.
