Oil Prices Rebound Amid Diplomatic Hopes and Geopolitical Concerns

Naeem Aslam, CIO at Zaye Capital Markets, observed that Brent crude oil prices rebounded by approximately 4.4 percent to trade near $87.81 per barrel.

This recovery followed President Trump's statements on diplomatic talks with Iran, which sparked expectations of reduced military disruption and protected regional energy flows.

However, the CIO noted that renewed concerns about attacks on U.S. forces and regional energy infrastructure have maintained a geopolitical risk premium across crude oil markets.

Aslam projected that today's Federal Funds Rate decision will influence oil prices through the U.S. dollar, financing conditions, and expectations for global demand.
