Oil Prices Rebound as Brent Heads for Biggest Monthly Gain Since July
Oil prices rose on September 30th after a previous decline due to increased crude supply from the Middle East. Brent crude futures saw a $1.14 increase, or 1.11%, reaching $103.73 per barrel. Similarly, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude gained 34 cents, or 0.38%, to $89.72.
Brent is on track for its largest monthly gain since July, with a predicted rise of around 14%. In contrast, WTI is expected to see a 4% increase after breaching the $106 mark for the first time in May.
