Oil Prices Rise Ahead of Potential US-Iran Talks

Oil prices have risen as investors await potential talks between the US and Iran on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meetings.

The Brent crude futures for November delivery climbed by $0.22, or 0.22%, to reach $100.57 per barrel.

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures for October delivery rose by two cents, or 0.02%, to $95.80 per barrel.

The market had been in decline for several days before steadying ahead of the potential talks between the US and Iran.
