Oil Prices Slide Amid Saudi Supply Recovery Expectations
Oil prices fell for the third consecutive session on Friday, September 18, due to expectations that Saudi Arabia would restore part of its East-West pipeline capacity in the coming days.
The Brent crude contract for November settled at $103.87 per barrel, while the WTI contract for the same month declined to $96.08.
The decline was reinforced by expectations that Saudi Arabia would restore approximately half of its East-West pipeline capacity in the next few days, easing fears of a prolonged disruption.
