Oil Prices Soar Amid Iran-US Deal Uncertainty

Oil prices have surged to a one-week high as uncertainty over the US-Iran deal and global inflation outlook weighs on markets.

The Strait of Hormuz remains closed, with Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary stating that it will stay shut until the US changes its behavior.

Brent futures rose 1.4% to settle at $88.91 a barrel, while US crude finished up 1.3% at $83.20 per barrel.
