Oil Prices Soar Amid Middle Eastern Supply Concerns
Global oil prices skyrocketed on Wednesday, driven by concerns over tightening supplies in the Middle East. The surge saw Brent crude futures rise by $6.16 or 7.33% to settle at $90.25 a barrel.
In related news, US West Texas Intermediate crude gained $5.40 or 6.81% to reach $84.65 a barrel.
