Oil Prices Soar as US-Iran Conflict Escalates
Global oil prices have increased sharply over the past week due to military clashes between the US and Iran, raising concerns about disrupted global energy supplies. WTI crude oil has risen from $83.44 per barrel at the end of last week to $91.22 per barrel by the end of this week, a 9.32% increase.
Brent oil also saw a significant jump, rising from $88.28 per barrel at the end of last week to $95.85 per barrel by the end of this week, an 8.58% increase.
The US-Iran conflict has sent shockwaves through the market, with many oil refineries in the Middle East and Russia experiencing disruptions. This has led to a surge in diesel prices.
Domestic gasoline prices in Vietnam have also seen adjustments, with Petrolimex announcing new prices for region 1 and region 2. Some companies are offering discounts on certain types of fuel.
