Global oil prices have reached near-record highs, with Brent crude futures for November trading at $97.61 per barrel and WTI crude October futures reaching $93 per barrel.

The price of Brent crude rose by $0.61 or 0.63% to the current level, while WTI crude increased by $1.52 or 1.66%.

Analysts link the rise in oil prices to renewed tensions between the United States and Iran, which has led to concerns that supplies from the Middle East may be constrained for an extended period.
