Oil Prices Stabilize as US and Iran Explore Diplomatic Solution

Oil prices stabilized after a three-day decline, as tensions in the Middle East showed signs of easing. The US and Iran may be able to forge a diplomatic solution to end the conflict, which has been ongoing for six months.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil price rose above $80 a barrel, while Brent closed near $84 on Tuesday. This comes after WTI tumbled 14% over the past three sessions.

US President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, seeking to avoid renewed bombing in Iran. Israel signaled it favored pursuing talks over military action.
