Oil Prices Stabilize Near One-Week High Amid Fading US-Iran Deal Hopes
Oil prices have held steady near their highest levels in over a week as hopes of a deal between the US and Iran to end their standoff have faded.
The Brent crude futures price was at $87.81 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were at $82.20 by 00:13 GMT on Tuesday.
Both benchmarks rose more than 5% on Monday to their highest levels since July 31, according to Reuters.
