Oil prices remain steady despite stalled talks over the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. has stepped up its economic threats toward Iran due to limited progress in negotiations, causing Brent crude to dip by 0.1% to $93.67 a barrel.

The Treasury Department's announcement to double the size of its planned purchases of longer-term government debt had a temporary effect on bond yields, bringing them down briefly. However, economists believe this impact will be short-lived.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin has seen significant gains, rising over 5% in early trading and reaching $76,935 each. The cryptocurrency has gained 22% for the week.
