Oil Prices Surge on NYMEХ and ICE Exchanges
Oil prices have seen an uptick in recent trading sessions. The WTI Crude Oil (Light Sweet) price at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEХ) Stock Exchange has risen by 0.54% to $74.92 per barrel, while Brent Crude Oil price at London's ICE Stock Exchange is up by 1.23% to $79.24 per barrel.
The unit of measurement for oil volume is the barrel, equivalent to 159.98 liters.
NYMEХ is a US futures market founded in 1882 and ranks first in oil futures trade, with its two divisions - NYMEX Division and COMEX Division - handling trades of various commodities including oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions.
