Oil Prices Surge to Strongest Monthly Gain Since March

Oil prices have ended July on a high note, rising over 1% to secure their strongest monthly performance since March.

Brent crude futures led the charge, gaining $1.09 or 1.2%, and closing at $90.12 per barrel.

The U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also climbed higher, increasing by $1.08 or 1.3% to settle at $84.67 per barrel.

These latest figures mark a significant gain for the month of July, with Brent crude up by 24% and WTI posting a robust 21% increase.
