The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) reported that oil producers met their domestic supply obligations in the second quarter of 2026, delivering a 97.4% compliance rate.

In the three-month period between April and June, producers supplied 53.7 million barrels of crude oil and condensate to domestic refineries, exceeding the allocated amount by 17.1%. The quarterly performance was attributed to increased local output and the conclusion of long-term supply agreements between producers and refiners.

The Dangote Refinery was the largest recipient of crude oil in Q2, requiring approximately 63 million barrels and receiving about 52.6 million barrels, representing around 78% of its total requirement.
