Oman Non-Oil Exports Soar 10.7% Despite Regional Disruptions
Oman's non-oil exports have risen by 10.7% to $11.1 billion in the first seven months of 2026, despite regional disruptions and uncertainty linked to the US-Iran conflict.
The increase was driven by strong growth in shipments to the UAE and the US, which helped offset declines in exports to Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
Oman's largest market for non-oil exports is still the UAE, with shipments more than doubling to $1.39 billion from $690 million a year earlier, a 101.4% increase.
However, exports to Saudi Arabia fell by 37%, declining to $418 million from $664 million in 2025.
