Oman Oil Output Rises 10.6% in First Six Months of 2026
Oman's oil output rose significantly in the first six months of this year, driven by higher production levels and firmer international oil prices. According to preliminary data from the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), total oil production increased by 10.6% compared to the same period last year.
Total production reached 198.01 million barrels by the end of June, up from 179.05 million barrels in the first six months of 2025. Average daily production also climbed to 1.094 million barrels per day, a 10.6% increase over the previous year.
The average price of Omani crude oil increased by 9.4% to $80.90 per barrel, while exports rose by 2.4% to 155.22 million barrels in the first half of this year. The increase in production and prices is expected to provide continued support for Oman's hydrocarbon revenues.
