Oman Oil Price Dives Amid Hopes for US-Iran Peace Deal

Oman's official oil price for October delivery took a dip to $77.44 per barrel on Thursday, down by $1.72 from Wednesday's closing price of $79.16.

This decline comes as world oil prices slipped further amid hopes that progress in recent talks could pave the way for a US-Iran peace deal.

In Tokyo trading, Brent crude futures fell 37 cents, or 0.5%, to $79.08 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures declined 53 cents, or 0.7%, to $74.69 a barrel.
