Oman Producer Prices Soar by 32.7% Amid Crude Oil Price Hike
Oman's producer prices surged by a significant 32.7% in the second quarter of 2026, compared to the same period last year.
The increase was driven primarily by sharp rises in crude oil and natural gas prices, which jumped by 31.9%, according to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
In the mining and quarrying sector, prices increased by 31%, with stone and sand products rising 0.5% and metal ore prices falling 14.3%
The manufacturing producer price index climbed 40.3%, led by a 55.3% increase in the prices of other transportable goods.
