Ontario Gas Prices to Soar by 6 Cents Over Two Days
Ontario drivers can expect to pay more for gasoline starting Friday morning, according to Dan McTeague, head of Canadians for Affordable Energy. Gasoline prices are expected to climb by six cents in total over two days, with a three-cent increase on Thursday and another three cents on Friday.
The Greater Toronto Area's morning (peak) prices on Friday will be 188.9 cents per litre of regular-grade gasoline. Diesel prices, however, are expected to fluctuate up and down over the coming days, but McTeague predicts a drop by seven cents on Friday after increasing by three cents on Thursday.
The price increases come as energy markets reflect changes in global oil prices two days later. McTeague's predictions are based on his analysis of current market trends and historical patterns.
